Halloween in the Village
Saturday October 31, 2015
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Downtown Qualicum Beach
The Qualicum Beach Downtown Business Association invites you to the first-ever Downtown Trick-or-Treat event on Thursday, October 31 from 3-5pm.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times during this event. We ask that the public be mindful of traffic and pedestrian patterns because children will be running around a little excited. For more information, email the Qualicum Beach Downtown Business Association at firstname.lastname@example.org
This free, community event provides a safe and friendly environment for parents to bring their children trick-or-treating in during daylight hours.
Children 12 years of age and younger, in costume, are encouraged to follow the trail of orange and black balloons and enjoy treats provided by the downtown business community. Particpating businesses will each feature an “Official Monster Merchant” poster in their window and balloons outside their front door. Other free activities during the Downtown Trick-or-Treat include edible Halloween crafts at Courtyard Café, Halloween cookie decorating at Café Brie and free Halloween photos for kids in costume at Pharmasave. There will also be spooky stories and kid-friendly crafts at the Qualicum Beach Library at 3pm and 3:30pm.
If you missed Halloween in the Village, you missed one of the largest events in 2015. In addition to well over 700 little ghouls and goblins that blanketed Qualicum Beach, all of our downtown merchants couldn't resist participating in the late afternoon event. Maybe you can spot one of two of our local business people doing their scary-best to make sure the event was a great success.
